Amphibians on the Move!

It's 40 degrees and rainy outside. That means the first amphibians of the season are beginning to wake from their burrows and head for vernal pools.

Maryland just launched their Herp Atlas 2010-2014, where volunteers from across the state will record all observations of reptiles and amphibians over the next five years. That data will be used to update distribution maps of these critters in each county of the state. Contact me for more information.
